This walking foot is a moving feed system which holds and moves fabric between the presser foots upper and lower feed dogs at the same rate in order to better control multiple layers of fabric. In order for this to work efficiently, it's important to sew at a low to medium speed. This foot is for low shank front and top loading machines and works well with a whole host of fabrics, including but not limited to lawn, knit, vinyl, cotton and leather. Excellent for quilting, sewing matching fabrics or any fabric where drift is an issue. Also included is a guide bar, which is excellent when quilting as it is adjustable and so allows you to sew at even distances between quilt lines.
